about this project
The Eitam, located in the Judean Hills, is a Biblical site known for its rocky terrain, aqueducts, and stone quarries, still in use today.
It was where Samson fled after provoking the Philistines and is also considered for the First Temple due to its strategic location and water access. Later, King Rehoboam developed it into a walled city.
Josephus described Eitam as a rich area with orchards and water streams, where King Solomon would ride his chariot. Both Talmuds mention it as a source of water for the Temple.
We visited the site to photograph, shoot video, and capture drone footage for their Instagram and Facebook, raising awareness about this historic location.
We support the protection of the Judean Hills and our support for this project was to help spread the word about the beauty of Israel's shepherds and settlers who are on the border of Israel every day, and their very presence protects the land.
It's a little known and understood topic world wide. So, we would like to help, by capturing and telling that story in the most beautiful imagery possible.
